Metricon Living & Artificial Greenery
Metricon’s new office and showroom called for greenery on a grand scale. With more than 400 plants and an eclectic mix of pots, the finished result brings colour, texture and personality to every corner of the space.
Client: Metricon
Market sector: Building and construction
Project: New office and showroom
Scope: Plant and pot selection and supply throughout the space
Plants included: A combination of live and artificial greenery
Quantity: 400+ plants
Pots: An eclectic mix of styles, all supplied by Parker Road
Key challenge: Bringing greenery into areas where the conditions were not suitable for live plants
Our Approach
Sarah from Metricon met with our Project Manager, to share the finishes selected for the new space and discuss the brief. Having already seen our work, the Metricon team was happy to leave the plant and pot selection in our hands.
Rather than using one pot style throughout, Louise selected an eclectic mix to create interest and give the space a more layered, individual feel.
More than 400 plants were introduced across the offices and showroom. Live plants were used wherever the conditions allowed, with high-quality artificial greenery incorporated into areas where living plants simply would not thrive. This allowed the entire space to benefit from greenery while maintaining a cohesive look from one area to the next.
